Endings and Beginnings

This morning was clear and bright after the cleansing rain last night, as everything always seems so fresh and new after a good rain.  I went out for my daily walk with Milo and Leo when I starting to feel the heat rolling in then caught the scent of sweet honeysuckle and wild gardenia which brought some gentleness in the reminder that it was the end of summer.  Today was also bittersweet because it was the first day of middle school for my one and only. Watching him walk away and onto that school bus means a new beginning to his future from my baby boy to a young adult.  Summer is slipping away and so is his childhood. The summer is especially sweet in that August 2018 marks our five year anniversary and I’m feeling really accomplished with how much LUXE ISLE has grown and been loved by so many. Having the honor to show my collections for a major show at Swim Week felt like a dream come true and I’m grateful.  If you feel you're not living the life that is true to your heart and soul, now's the time to make that change and to put you on the path to finding your fulfillment. Every step away from wrong can lead you on the path to right, just be patient. It's taken me 5 years and I still don't feel I'm anywhere near done.
