PUCCI Luxe Swim Collection
Italian designer Emilio Pucci's style was a welcome and fresh look, and just in time for the progressive sixties. A vibrant kaleidoscope of colors filled the graphic and abstract designs which were inspired by the batiks of Bali, African motifs and Sicilian mosaics. Fashion was stiff and quite formal during this time so his colorful and adventurous prints were revolutionary!
Pucci was a member of the exclusive international jet-setting crowd of the 50s traveling from beach to city to mountain so it's no surprise that he fell in love with resort clothing. His prints mimicked the Mediterranean Sea’s bright blue color and soft waves and the designs brought a feel of couture without weight and formality. Some say he was the original Resort Wear Designer.
One of the prettiest sets we've ever had, this string bikini and matching robe are perfect for the jet setting girl. Made of easy care cotton poly blend, the robe is ideal for travel as it packs well and needs very little care. Perfect blend of 65% Poly 35% Cotton. 53" L. Stretchy elastic drawstring waist and 8 button placket from waist down creates a very interesting maxi dress for a night out on the town after lounging by the pool all day with Rose.
Lightly padded (removable) bikini top has ties at top and back as does the bottom. Top and Bottom are sold separately for the perfect, custom fit. Just like Pucci.
